Before this game was ever released, there was a lot of speculation that this would end up being the first Pokemon GameCube game; however, the rumors ended up being false as Pichu Bros. Mini, featuring the Pichu Bros. from Pikachu and Pichu, ended up being a Pokemon Mini game. Not that different from Pokemon Party Mini, Pichu Bros. Mini contains 6 mini games, which you can play by yourself, or link up for multiplayer. The following are four of the minigames offered:
Hoppip's Jump Match: Using shock motions, your goal is to help Hoppip gain as much energy as possible to jump high enough.
Fruit to Fall: When Teddiursa shakes the tree, your job is to try to catch as many pieces of fruit before time expires.
Pichu Bros. Skateboard: Playing as Pichu, your mission is to perform as many jump stunts on your skateboard as possible, while avoiding obstacles in your path.
Cubone Catch: In this multiplayer game you throw the ball to your opponent so that they don't catch it. When it's their turn to throw the ball, you have to catch it also.
