Much like Pokemon Pinball for the Game Boy Advance, your mission is to use Diglett or Pikachu to knock the pinballs around the different fields and into the pockets. In total there are a whopping 90 small tables for you to play through. At first the game isn't very challenging, but as you progress the tables get harder with obstacles everywhere.
